SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS

Blessing of the Animals 2021.jpg

Blessing of the Animals

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church has their annual Blessing of the Animals on or near October 4, the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis was born in Assisi, Italy during the 12th Century. During his life, he was particularly fond of animals. We celebrate his love of animals with the Blessing of the Animals.

Holy Baptism

Holy Baptism marks a formal entrance to the congregation and wider Church; candidates of all ages for the sacrament make a series of vows, including an affirmation of the Baptismal Covenant, and are baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
