Las Posadas
Los Posadas, (Spanish for 'The Inns') is a religious festival celebrated in Mexico and some other Spanish speaking areas. It commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to the baby Jesus. When they were unable to find lodging in Bethlehem, Joseph and Mary were forced to seek shelter in a stable, where the Christ Child was born.
At Saint Andrew's, our members take home these statues to 'host' for a night or two.
They will have the options to take a decorative picture of the statues, fill out a page in the traveling journal, or just enjoy their time in private.

All participants must be willing to receive and deliver the statues to the next host.
